This website is my way of sharing my collection with fellow Canadians who have a connection or interest in this historic time.
I have been meticulous in collecting authentic items, and a bit obsessive about retaining as much provenance as possible. I have added a substantial number of references under the description of each artifact. These are not all encompassing but I hope the effort made in listing references will encourage new collectors to do their homework before investing hard earned money in a relic.
Building and preserving this collection is, in many ways, a connection to my ancestor who participated in this historic war. It's been my pleasure to be the caretaker of these relics until they are passed on to others who also feel a connection to the past.
